    Below, you will find information relating to our Special Educational Needs and Disability provision. Through the support we offer to all of our pupils, we seek to enable them to let their light shine. Our school is a wonderful, inclusive Christian community; we celebrate difference!

    Useful information

    • Lancashire SEND Local Offer The Local Offer sets out at the 'local authority level' what the Local Authority expects to be available in every school.
    • Lancashire FIND The FIND database includes information about disabled children and young people up to 25 years old in Lancashire. Newsletters are written 4 times a year and can be found on the link below.
    • Lancashire SEND Partnership The Lancashire SEND Partnership brings together all the agencies in Lancashire which provide special educational needs and disability (SEND) services for children, young people, their parents and carers, with representatives from those who use the service.
    • The Early Help Assessment and Plan (EHA/EHP) The Early Help Assessment and Plan (EHA/EHP) is an 'assessment and planning tool'. We use it to support children with significant and complex additional needs who need specialist support from across education, health and social care.
    • Lancashire SEND Information, Advice and Support Service Lancashire SEND Information, Advice and Support Service is a statutory service which is run at 'arm's length' from the Local Authority and provides free, confidential, impartial advice, guidance and support to parents of children with special educational needs and children and young people with SEND.
    • Independent Parental Special Education Advice (IPSEA) Independent Parental Special Education Advice offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We also provide training on the SEND legal framework to parents and carers, professionals and other organisations.
